We have a winning Sausage!

Last month as part of our celebration of the sausage and in anticipation of our unique ‘Sausage Festival’ we invited our chef and restaurant customers to create and submit their own sausage recipe ideas; a creation that best reflects your pub, restaurants or hotel.

Nige JonesWe’re delighted to announce that the winner is Chef Nigel Jones from Traeth Bar and Grill. Nigel wins 50 kilos of our award winning Cotswold sausages, and he’ll be glad to know that we’ll deliver them in manageable quantities as promised!

Traeth Bar and Grill is situated in New Quay, South Wales and is soon to be one of 30 new entries in the 'Food Wales - Eating out Guide 2011' which will be published in January. An astonishing success story given that Traeth hasn’t yet had its first Birthday.

Nigel commented on his recent successes “We’re chuffed to bits at winning Aubrey Allen’s sausage competition and also to being included in the new ‘Eating Out Guide’ which was announced to us following three separate mystery diner visits. We recognise that we owe a lot to our chosen suppliers and I would like to thank Aubrey Allen and their staff for the fab products and service that have helped to make us so successful after only 8 months in a new venture. Hopefully between us we will go from strength to strength.”

  • Roast Lamb/Mutton
  • Rosemary
  • Garlic
  • Anchovy (or anchovy essence/sauce)
  • Seasoning
