Aubrey Allen supplies the finest pork that has been reared and farmed to the highest industry standards.
Our free range pork is produced by Jimmy Butler voted Pig Farmer of the Year 2006 and his team. Jimmy farms out at Blythburgh in Suffolk where the natural environment is just perfect for the raising of wonderful free range pork. As many of the fields are close to the estuary and coast, the salt sea breeze compliments the wallow holes that the Pigs bask in, this being a natural sunscreen for the pigs as they can’t naturally sweat.
A crossbred pig of Duroc, Large White and Landrace allows a hardy, well-muscled pig that loves to wallow in the clay-based soil. With acres of land to run and socialise in, it is clear that the pigs enjoy their life, and, clearly the care put in by farmer Jimmy Butler and his team over at Blythburgh, is of foremost priority.
Only gilt (female) pigs with a good covering of fat and full traceability are accepted to the Aubrey Allen Assurance Scheme that ensures that each cut of pork will be superb.

Pork is versatile, economic, and with a combination of our craft skills and our clients' cooking skills, it produces some great dishes.
