Ogleshield
Made by Jamie Montgomery in Cadbury, Somerset from his herd of Jersey Cows.
Ogleshield is a great melting cheese perfect for cooking and is Britain’s answer to Raclette.
This washed cheese first came about when Jamie experimented and it was then Bill Oglethorpe a cheese affineur played with the cheese, washing it in a light brine and naming the cheese Ogleshield rather than its original name Oglethorpe.
Oglesheild is made with raw milk and traditional rennet.
